Meet the board
TRX’s Advisory Board brings a wealth of experience and expertise in programme distribution, technology platforms, investment and content production.
Stephen Lambert is the founder and CEO of Studio Lambert, the production company he launched in 2008 with the support of All3Media.
He is one of the best-known creative television executives in Britain and America, responsible for global unscripted hits such as Gogglebox, Undercover Boss, Wife Swap, Four in a Bed, Secret Millionaire, Tattoo Fixers and Faking It. His programs have won many awards, including several Primetime Emmys and more than half a dozen BAFTA awards.
In 2010, the Huffington Post selected Lambert as one its Game Changers - '100 innovators, mavericks, visionaries, and leaders who are changing the way we look at the world and the way we live in it.'
Lambert began his career at the BBC in 1983 where he worked for fifteen years. He joined David Frank at RDF Media in 1998 as director of programs, becoming the group’s chief creative officer after the company’s flotation on the AIM market.
Nadine has worked in international programme distribution for the last 25 years with organisations in the UK and US including the BBC and MTV. She ran ITV’s international distribution business for 12 years during the consolidation of ITV then joining the Shine Group where she became Chief Executive of Shine International.
She currently runs an Independent media consultancy providing strategic and commercial advice to producers, broadcasters and distributors.
She has been involved in the voluntary sector for the last 10 years, studying international development and Human Rights law, chairing the board of an international child rights charity and participating in programmes in Africa, South America and Eastern Europe.
She does not support a football club other than by proxy but is a yoga practitioner and is currently learning antique chair restoration in France.
Juliette has over ten years of experience in influencing the development and growth of a disruptive business model from small start up to an established domestic and now leading global music brand. With a broad background in the television production industry (ranging from C4 to BBC and ITV), Juliette joined Audio Network at its inception in 2002 to spearhead the company’s growth and profile within the broadcast industry. She has driven and shaped the business in a number of key roles, becoming MD in 2011. In addition to her position on the TRX Advisory Board, she is Audio Network’s Chief Strategy Officer, leading and implementing the company’s current and future global strategy.
John McVay is the Chief Executive of Pact. He has been involved in programme making as a producer, consultant and trainer since 1986. Prior to his appointment at Pact, John held positions as the founding Director of the Research Centre for Television and Interactivity in Glasgow and was Director of Training and Education at Scottish Screen. John is currently Chairman of the Creative Diversity Network, Chairman of the UK’s digital single market campaign and is the UK rights spokesperson for the Creative Coalition Campaign. At Pact, John led the successful campaign that resulted in the 2003 Communications Act which resulted in the UK having the world’s most creative and commercially successful independent production sector.
Jonathan Norman has over 20 years of investment banking experience, focusing throughout on the media, internet and related-tech sectors.
He is a Partner at Stella Capital Advisors, having previously been at Jefferies (MD, Global Media and Internet Group), LongAcre (founding member and MD) and JP Morgan (IB Group, in NY and LA). Jonathan has advised a variety of public and private companies, financial institutions and family offices on a range of transactions in the US, Europe and Asia.…including, inter alia Sony, Time Warner, All3Media, RDF Media, ProSiebenSat.1, Shine, Celador, Schibsted, the Mill, Double Negative, Hit Entertainment (Apax), Chorion, Zefa Visual Media, BBC, ITV (Granada), HBO CE (Sony, Disney, Warner), PokerStrategy, Product Madness, Modern Times Group (MTG), Antenna, MGM, Demand Media and Dunnhumby.
Jonathan holds a BA from Princeton University
